What:

These half hour consults involve assessing your goals, needs and current fitness levels. From this information our exercise physiologist can provide you with a specific home or gym based exercise program to help you achieve your goals.

When: 

Days: Tuesday and Thursday

Time: 8:00am and 5:00pm

 

Exercise Classes

What:

From April 2008, BMI is proud to introduce weekly exercise classes at our in house gymnasium. These classes are designed for people of all ages and fitness levels. With our Exercise Physiologist, you can be sure that we can deliver some enjoyable, high quality exercise and education in a fun, friendly environment. exercise programs are specific for each patient and client, as we all have different motivations for getting involved in excercise. We offer both individual and group classes, each lasting for one hour. so whether you have been referred by your doctor or just want a fitness program tailored fo you, we have something to suit your needs.

Stress Testing 

What:

Stress testing is designed to evaluate the capacity of your heart during the increased demands of exercise. This test is ideal for giving you the all clear before becoming involved in a higher intensity exercise program. If you have a family history of heart disease, have been inactive for some time, are overweight or haven’t had a stress test in more than two years then enquire about having one done under the direct supervision of our Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Professor Carey.
